OlderSelena Gomez: Love Is On Every Girl's Mind
Selena Gomez took to her MySpace blog on Monday evening, clearing up a quote of hers that was taken out of context by OK! magazine.
The 16-year-old Wizards starlet had this to say: “Most of my songs are about love, I am a 16 year old teenager and I sing about what is on every girls mind. Love. What I was implying was that the songs I sing about, the boys who have hurt me or that are no longer in my life don’t deserve a song to be written about them but, that’s impossible. Writing and singing is a gateway to sharing and getting out feelings.”
Way to go, Selena!

Yeah, it seems like tabloids always take things out of context. Don’t get me wrong, they’re fun to read! But I always wonder what’s actually true.

friends started when she was less than 2 years old and ended a couple of months shy of her 12th birthday.
i mean, i don’t doubt that she probably watched the series finale and got upset about it, but for the most part she was in elementary school when it was on.
besides which, although it wasn’t sex and the city or whatever, it talked about sex/older type adult stuff a fair amount, and other stuff way too much for a little kid to be watching it.
i think it means she watched re-runs of friends.
