Ashley Tisdale looks glamourous in this Alberta Ferretti for Philosophy gray and black dress at the 2008 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday evening in Los Angeles.

The 23-year-old High School Musical leading lady topped off her dress with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Burberry heels.

Ashley recently shared that the one person she looked up to when she was younger — and still does, is her mom. She said, “I love other actors and musicians and artists but I never really looked up to anyone in particular. If anything, I really looked up to my mom — she’s very confident. She’s made me very confident growing up and always taught me to never give up in life on anything. So that’s who I think is my role model, my mom.”
