Lucas Grabeel turns 24 today!!!
The former High School Musical star can next be seen in the political film, Milk, out Friday, December 5th.
Milk: The Movie is about California’s first openly gay elected politician, Harvey Milk (Sean Penn). Lucas plays Milk’s photographer friend, Daniel Nicoletta (also pictured here).
Apart from keeping the memory of Milk alive, Nicoletta is also a well known photographer specializing in documenting the gay and lesbian community of San Francisco.

You are absolutely right! Lucas never gets any notice which is awful. That young man can do it all and is truly the most underrated young performer there is. It is evident though that someone in Hollywood has noticed his talent since he has been working nearly non-stop this past year and to think he is getting a chance to be in a movie with Sean Penn is quite a feat for someone who has done movies like Halloweentown(do I have that right?) and HSM which some dim-wits refuse to accept as being any kind of an accomplishment. Miley shows the tip of her nose to the outside world and gets pictures and a write-up.
