OlderJordin Sparks & David Archuleta - 2008 American Music Awards
American Idol alums Jordin Sparks and David Archuleta pose together on the red carpet of the 2008 American Music Awards at the Nokia Theatre on Sunday evening in Los Angeles.
David, 17, debuted his self-titled CD on November 11th and is still holding on to the #2 spot on the Billboard Music Charts. Country cutie Taylor Swift nabbed #1. David‘s first single, “Crush”, sits at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 single sales charts as well. Not too bad.
He presented the Country Male Artist award to Brad Paisley at tonight’s show with Secret Life of the American Teenager‘s Shailene Woodley.

I just love that David and Jordin were so obviously happy to see each other. So refreshing. Last night was a great awards show, and as an Archuleta fan, I was pleased to see him so much and hear his name so often! (Even if he didn’t sing.)
