Rafi Gavron in Teen Vogue
Rafi Gavron recently sat down with Teen Vogue magazine and dished about his upcoming role, his best friend, Gossip Girl bad boy Ed Westwick and being compared to a few Hollywood legends.
The 19-year-old British actor’s breakout role was playing Dev, Nick’s openly gay friend in Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist opposite Michael Cera and Kat Dennings. Rafi is next headed for the big screen with Brendan Fraser in Inkheart, set to hit theaters in January 2009.
On best friend Ed Westwick: “I listen to his poetry at five in the morning. He’s genius, but it gets bad.”
On playing gay character, Dev: “I have no reservations at all about playing a gay character. I’d play a woman if it was a great role.”
On being compared to Johnny Depp: “I prefer not to be compared to anyone. I prefer to be compared to Rafi Gavron.”
Be sure to pick up the December 08/January 09 issue of Teen Vogue (Kristen Stewart‘s on the cover) to find out more about Rafi Gavron!

Wow this guy is super hot! And I think it’s cool he’s open to playing different roles rather than just being typecasted.
He’s so adorable! Clearly, I need to see Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist. I’ve only ever seen him in Breaking and Entering.
Thanks so much Jared!
He is so hott! I`ve liked him ever since 2006! c: I <3 u Rafi!
I can’t wait to see his next movie. :) I want him to play as the main character in my novel if it ever gets turned into a movie. He has the same basic personality. ;)
I can’t wait to see what he’ll do next! I know it probably won’t happen, but I want him to play as the main guy in my novel if it ever gets turned into a movie. :)
Beautiful! Him and Logan Lerman are most pretty Jewish actors right now.
