Sammi Hanratty smiles big as she promotes the special “Girl Of The Year” doll at the American Girl Place in New York City on Friday afternoon.
The 13-year-old actress stars as the newest American Girl, Chrissa. An American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong follows Chrissa as she moves to a new school mid-year. She has to deal with making friends, dealing with bullies and standing up for yourself. The TV movie will air on Saturday, January 10th on HBO.

OMG! She is so not 13!!!!!!!!!!!! She looks 8 or 9! LOL! Good for the part I guess! BUT STILL!!!! I’m 13! And I could probably get away with saying I’m atleast 2x older than her!
yeahhh she is soooo cute but damnnn thats one teeny tiny 13 year old!!!!!!!! she looks no older than 10 tops or something hahaha but yeahh i have always loved american girl dolls since i was a very little girl, great toys, and good “role model” and parent approved toys also. i really wanna see the interview w/ her here, but it wont load properly for me, its super slow!!!! ahhhh very frusterating for me ahah maybe i can find it somewhere else on some other website and it will work better? or maybe its just me and my computer? just wondering, is anyone else having the same problem as me with the video above?

Haha. I happen to have the same name….am 14 now….(just like Sammi Hanratty) and she is SOOO amazing. I met her…she’s sweet. its funny b/c we kinda look a like same size, age exept we have different colored hair. haha. :) she has like blondeish/redish/brown and i have black hair. ☺
