20-pounds-heavier Taylor Lautner shows off his blue rubber duckie at the Kari Feinstein Golden Globe Style Lounge at Zune LA in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon.
The 16-year-old Twilight actor just secured his role as Jacob Black in the upcoming sequel New Moon.
Director Chris Weitz announced on author Stephenie Meyer‘s official website, “It was my first instinct that Taylor was, is, and should be Jacob, and that the books would be best served by the actor who is emotionally right for the part. I think that fans of Twilight the book and the movie will be surprised by the Jacob Black that Taylor will bring to the screen in New Moon.”

Did you guys hear that Rob is already in Canada prepping for New Moon? Apparently some fans have seen him out and about! He’s so dedicated to really getting to character as Edward, I can’t wait to see the final product in New Moon!

Saw it on his IMDB board. Someone in that area heard a radio DJ talking about it on-air and apparently he’s been spotted by fans. Hopefully we’ll get some pics soon! And I’m sad about PPB too, such a disappointment that it didn’t work out.
