OlderJulianne Hough: I'm A Bad Blogger!
Dancing with the Stars professional Julianne Hough finally popped in on her MySpace to update all her fans.
The 20-year-old dancer and singer is excited about the new season of DWTS, which starts next Monday, March 1. She writes, “Hey guys, yes it’s really me! I know it’s even hard for me to believe! How sad is this, I forgot how to post a blog because it’s been so long I actually had to have Chuck [Wicks] show me how to do it! ha ha”
“Where should I begin… ok, I think everyone knows i’m back on DWTS this season. it was a last minute deal. I was set on taking this season off and then last minute the show asked me to do it because they had asked Chuck to do it and they thought it would be cool if we danced together… at first I still said no because I wanted to focus on my music BUT then I thought about it for a day and figured this out. I can still write, go on tour and work on Julianne Hough, the country singer, because Chuck will be my partner and that will be a huge luxury.”

“Also, if I would have taken this season off I would have had to go back on the fall season when I will be trying to promote a new single off of my new record so it would have been harder to do that if I was on the show.. I don’t know if I’m making sense, but I wanted to clear that up with everyone, I know there had been some confusion, and the LAST thing i want to do is confuse my fans. You guys have been supportive of me from the beginning….. I can’t thank you enough!!!
“Ok, so now I can go on to talk about rehearsal. It has been so much fun and really hilarious to see Chuck try to dance ha ha.. even thinking about it is funny! He is actually doing very well though. I was really surprised! Today it was a great day, we TOTALLY fell on our butts..that will definitely make it in our package the first week. It has been a little challenging trying to find studios that have mirrors and wood floors on the road. I think we actually rehearsed at a theater on a college campus. Side note: Jerry, Chuck‘s tour manager, and Chuck are totally dancing on the bus right now! Jerry was being the girl!
“All week I’ve been on the road with Chuck practicing and then going to his shows.. not gonna lie, I’ve been a getting a little antsy cause i haven’t had a show plus I’m on a bus with even more guys than are on my bus, so I’m going a little coo coo!! my highlight of today was going to Walgreens and getting a BUNCH of makeup and girly stuff like that just to feel like a girl again.
“I feel weird asking for this BUT.. I was fortunate enough to make the ballot for Top New Female Vocalist for the ACM’s this year and the best part is, it’s fan voted so if you guys want to see me up there in Vegas on April 5th, go to GACTV.com and vote!
