OlderKristen Stewart: 'I Love the Twilight Fans!'
Kristen Stewart recently sat down with Collider.com to clear up all the bad press she’s been getting for her Nylon mag interview.
The 18-year-old actress told Nylon magazine, “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation.”
Kristen dished to the site, “I love the Twilight fans. I have literally never said anything remotely negative about them. You have to stay away from certain key words that can be twisted in a negative connotation. Like the word ‘psychotic’ apparently is really bad. I feel like it’s a really humble position to take that it’s not normal—you know what I mean?—to find yourself in a situation where there are 5,000 screaming girls. I feel like that’s not normal and it’s not something I should just say, ‘Oh yeah, it’s really cool, I love them.’ I feel like everything I said in that Nylon interview, if you actually read the whole thing, was very honest and genuine and talking about something that I am so immersed in and I have absolutely no control over. And I’m just trying to stay honest and true to something that I care about.”

When I read what she said about being psychotic was more it was “crazy’ she could have used a better word but it is over with…Good on ya girl for clearing it up

Kristen is just misunderstood, if you post the whole interview and what was said, the people who like her and hate her would keep that in mind and anyone who wants to turn everything she says negative, then that’s their fault.

She NEVER hated the fans, she hated the situations she was put in. That’s all. I love her, she deffinately has learnt her lesson as to what she should and shouldn’t say.

djhf that comment was also taken out of context , it was form an interview done in july of last year she was asked as a joke if she would leave the twilight franchize and she said that if she left it would cause a frenzy cause the girls would go crazy to get the role of bella
she was joking and again it shw that some people are too ignorant to believe everything they read online

really children give her a break. she actually does love her fans it’s just she does not always love the pressure of her position. yes you say that’s what she signed up for but seriously it is a way too much to handle. yes she could of worded her statement a bit differently but sheesh she’s only 18. we need to give these people a break sometimes.
plus we should all appreciate that she’s being honest to us, her fans. and she trusts us to not take her words out of context. but what do most of you 15 year olds do? TAKE the darn thing out of CONTEX.. honestly i rather have someone upfront with me than being FAKE like MOST young celebs are.

Kristen is not the typical hollywood actress…. I dont think she liked being seen in public nor interviews..
I think she loves acting and she’s good at it, but at the same time, now that she’s being recognized more, she’d now realizing and adjusting to hollywood life and the price she pays for being a hollywood actress…
As far as her fans, I believe she loves US! .. more than anything she’s being herself by admitting to interviews how i guess weird has been the reaction of fans to the movie!!!

i find myself embarrassed to be a twilight fan sometimes because a lot of us overreact on every little situation that’s said and done..
even though she said this .. she shouldn’t have had to in the first place.. it wasn’t a big deal .. and unfortunately twilight fans took it as HUGE deal when it really wasn’t.
I’m glad she cleared it up though.. regardless of her words there will obviously still be the haters of twilght that are going to try and take every little thing she says and make it to be negative..
but good for kstew for staying honest.. i would’ve called us all psychotic too.
