OlderNathan Kress is KCA Cool
Nathan Kress and costar Jennette Mccurdy show off their pearly whites as they arrive at the 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards held at UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion in Los Angeles on Saturday afternoon (March 28).
Their show iCarly won for Favorite TV Show! iCarly was up against Hannah Montana, Zoey 101 and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
The duo also co-hosted the Burp Awards throughout the night. The Burp Award was won by Rico the penguin.

KCA this year was sooo rigged. WHO in hell voted for jack black?! and i agree with amanda. HOW did iCarly beat Hannah Montana?!?!?
@amanda: I couldn’t believe it either but iCarly has been beating Hannah Montana in ratings lately. I’ve checked. And Selena does have the highest number of friends on myspace.
Overall, the results of this year’s awards were pretty good. I just wish Selena was there so that her and Miley could battle face to face.
Fans are ridiculous! 2 years ago when Miley got her first KCA, coincidentially for Best TV Actress also, EVERYONE was bashing on her and saying “Who is she?” or “She talks like a man.” Then when Selena came along as the new “it” girl, everyone goes and kisses Miley’s ass and starts hating on the new girl. Just wait until Debby Ryan gets starts to become more popular and wins a KCA. Then it will be Selena who will get the ass kissin.

Anybody notice that most of the discussion boards for the KCAs articles mention Selena’s winning over and over again. Poor Selena, she’s all the way in Puerto Rico busy filming a movie and probably doesn’t know she’s the most talked about KCA winner of the night.
i am so happy they won. i like miley and all but seriously, she cant win everything! her fans are going crazy because she lost, but there are plenty of people out there who voted for icarly and jack black. i voted for jack black! i love him, hes funny. and im very glad selena won. she is an amazing actress. just because this is a nick award show doesnt mean they rigged it! so. so people need to chill!

Honestly, I do not know why people like iCarly. It’s a poorly written show and Miranda Cosgrove can’t act for beans. Critics have said it, almost everyone I know has said it…. I am very disappointed. :( I have to agree with previous posters and say that this was probably rigged. It’s a Nick production, not disney. There may have been some favourtism. But oh well. It’s just the KCAs.
@Jenn: Hey, people LOVE iCarly. But, I do agree that Miranda can’t act. And, it’s JUST the KCAs? The KCAs have been around since my mom was a kid. And besides, iCarly’s rankings have been up, and they won. Period. End of story.

miranda is a fantastic actress! the best young actress out there by far. Icarly gets much higher ratings than hannah montana and she deserved to win
I think Hannah Montana so should’ve won. HM is a much better show! Sometime iCarly is pretty cool but after you’ve watched an episode once, you don’t wanna watch it anymore. C’mon! I bet Nick played some favoritism and made iCarly win just because iCarly is with Nick and HM is with Disney. They wanted to make iCarly more popular so they’d be better than HM by making iCarly win. On HM after watching an episode, I don’t mind watching it again. Like the new one were Mamaw works at there school, it was so amazing! Everybody expected the iCarly with Fred to be so cool but I thought it was pretty lame to be honest. I was let down, I thought it’d be much more exciting. HM beats WOWP place to. I like WOWP but HM is better. Honestly, Miley should’ve beat Jack Black, Selena Gomez, iCarly and all of those she lost to. WOWP is cool but it’s not as cool as HM. I only watch iCarly and WOWP when nothing better is on. I’d watch HM all day if I could. Miley is so talented and deserved more than just Best Female Singer.

I agree with #12 on Miley Cyrus, and she did win some prize, so the die-hard Miley fans can’t complain. It’s good to see Jennette toning down her make-up for events.
I loved Jennette’s dress but not too fond of her shoes of choice. But I’m definitely not a fashion designer so what do I know? Maybe she was just trying to make the outfit *pop*.
And I am thrilled that iCarly won. I know tons of people – old and young – who love that show. Hardly any of my friends watch Hannah Montana these days. The cast of iCarly definitely deserved this win; like someone else stated their ratings have been awesome lately.
