Jesse McCartney shows off his medal as he arrives at the ASCAP Awards after party held at h.wood nightclub in Hollywood on Wednesday night (April 22).

The 22-year-old musician received the Song of the Year medal along with co-writer Ryan Tedder for their work on the 2008 hit, “Bleeding Love.”

The Top 5 most performed songs of 2008 (in alpha order) were “Apologize,” (OneRepublic) “Bleeding Love,” (Leona Lewis) “Love Song,” (Sara Bareilles) “Low,” (Flo Rida) and “No One” (Alicia Keys).
