Jennette McCurdy joined thousands of other people in Santa Monica at Invisible Children’s ‘The Rescue’ Rally on Saturday evening (April 25).
The 16-year-old iCarly cutie tweeted when she returned home, saying, “Rescuing Beth @ Invisible Children’s Santa Monica rally.”
The international community gathered in more than 100 cities across the world to symbolically abduct themselves to free the abducted and delivered the innocent from Joseph Kony’s reign and ensure he is brought to justice. For more information, visit InvisibleChildren.com.

AwesomE! I came to my local Gulu walk in Guadalajara Mexico, it was amazing how people didn’t care about the flu and showed uP. still I am a little bit dissapointed because there were no disney channel celebs involved, it seem like they don’t even care about this kind of problems…

@Ivanna mariel: I don’t think it’s fair to say they don’t care just cause they weren’t there. They can’t be all places at all times. Why are people so determined to hate on DC stars? If you don’t like them, ignore them and don’t bring them up in topics.
I do think this is a great idea and event. I really hope things get done over their to get the corrupt and violent people out of power, so those poor kids can be freed.
No one mentioned the fact that their were no DC stars and I am happy that jennette is different and seems to be more invovled and less self absorbed than a lot of famous people in her age group. If you hate why comment on her why even look at news involving her doesn’t make much sense
