OlderJennette McCurdy & Ashley Argota: Double Trouble
Nick starlets Jennette McCurdy and Ashley Argota get silly on the top of a bus as they film a skit for their new TV show, Double Trouble, on Sunday afternoon (May 3) in Hollywood.
The twosome, both 16, were surprised on set by a swarm of bees! Jennette and Ashley were unharmed, but Jennette couldn’t control her screams as the bees flew towards her.
The duo were giving away free Nickelodeon t-shirts to a large crowd of tourists in front of the Chinese Mann’s Theater.

Hopefully this means iCarly won’t be cancelled if Jennette has her own TV show.
new show? as in they’re both leaving icarly/true jackson?

Are these girls from iCarly and True Jackson VP?
I thought she was on icarly???? So does that mean she’s leaving the show??? I didn’t know she was that famous.
I like them a lot. They’re a lot better than the girls on Disney. And they play they’re roles of sidekicks for Miranda’s Carly and Keke’s True well.
It looks like I’m wondering the same thing. Are these two sidekicks ditching their respective leading ladies? Hopefully not. While I don’t watch True Jackson, VP, I know for a fact that Sam’s abrasiveness balances out Carly’s goody-goody, farting out flowers attitude. Nickelodeon shouldn’t split them up if they still want iCarly to have high ratings.
I think JustJaredJr got a little mixed up. Jennette clarifies it in her blog: they were shooting promos for Nick. But a show that starred Jennette and Ashley?!? Oooo, the possibilities!! I’d imagine it being something like a modern day, younger version of Lavergne & Shirley.
So does it take two sidekicks to equal one lead in this new show?
Yeah iCarly will be great now If they could just get an actress who wasn’t always trying to upstage Miranda!

Ashley and I were promoting Nickelodeon’s DOUBLE TROUBLE NIGHT – May 16th! There’s a crazy new episode of iCarly ( it’s actually one of my favorites!) followed by an all-new True Jackson, V.P. (the episode that I guest-starred in!!) . It’s a big ole night of premieres!!! I know that Ashley and I had a BLAST shooting our promos for Double Trouble Night, so I can only hope that you guys will have DOUBLE the fun watching as we did filming! haha.
Awesome! I am so glad that there are candids! Jennette was excited about it and she had a blast!

Here are 5 random behind-the-scenes facts from our DOUBLE TROUBLE NIGHT promo-shoot …
1. Ashley and I decided that “AP†should stand for arm-pit, instead of “Advanced Placementâ€. haha.
2. I had 6 beaded bracelets on, but had to remove them because they were too loud for the sound department!
3. Ashley and I loved singing songs between takes. Some of the songs we were singing were “I Know You Won’tâ€, “Haloâ€, “Too Little Too Lateâ€, and “Single Ladies†(accompanied by the dance, of course)!
4. Even though I’m up in Hollywood all the time for work, I think the fact that this whole promo was shot from the top of a double-decker tour bus means that this was my very first tour of Hollywood! haha! How cool!
5. A swarm of bees attacked the bus and nearly stung me. I freaked out. You’ve gotta watch to see it! hahaha it was insane!
They are not going to leave their show. They are just hosting the premire of “Double Trouble” for icarly and true jackson vp!

they dont have a new show……….. double trouble was just an event hosted by jenette and ashley promoting the new icarly/true jackson episodes that aired tonight.
