Miley Cyrus and BFF dancer Mandy Jiroux share a laugh as they finish up lunch at City Wok on Saturday afternoon (May 30) in Toluca Lake, Calif.
The 16-year-old Disney Channel darling tweeted earlier, saying, “I went from hating to obsessing! I looove Lady Gaga! Lady Gaga reminds me of Hannah Montana. She’s like a normal songwriter/producer and then she has a double life as a popstar shes real life Hannah Montana.”

I can kind of see why she would compare Hannah Montana to Lady Gaga, but considering that Lady Gaga is a millionx more fabulous.. I still don’t consider it comparable. I think if Hannah Montana were real, she’d look up to Lady Gaga.

I still have love for Miley though. I actually used to hate Lady Gaga, too. I read the lyrics to her song and thought it made no sense.

They should make a Hannah Montana spin off that features a popstar similar to Lady Gaga’s style, kinda like the way they based Hannah off of Hilary/Britney. Now that I would watch. I’m tired of teeny poprock. Bring on teeny electropop!
But Gaga has stated lots of times that she’s NOT leading a “double life” a la Hannah Montana. And I quote:
“The biggest misconception about me is I’m a character or a persona. That when the lights and cameras turn off, I turn into a pumpkin. It’s simply not true. I make music and art and design all day long. Yes, I wash my face and go to sleep but when I wake up, I am always Lady Gaga.”
And I believe her – I think she’s telling the truth. So this comparison makes no sense at all.

and she “detrone” (that’s a frensh word –> it means when you steal the king’s place and you become king…) well she detrone Britney spears and become the teenagers (not kids) most favourite pop singer (befor 2009 britney was favourite since 2000 !!!)
Of you read that all, i think you have MATERIAL proofs that miley is PROFFESIONALY speaken better than gaga, and have more EXPERIENCE than lady gaga cuz she have been on the shiwvizz thing since 2003 (6 years of experience) lady gaga since 2008/09 (befor she was only songwriter)

@Meagan: Disney is known to only promote poprock. Anybody notice that Disney never promotes artists that sing R&B, hip hop, or electropop. They pomoted Hilary Duff and Jesse McCartney alot when they sang poprock. But when Jesse switched to R&B and Hilary Duff switched to dancepop, them and their albums barely got any promotion. Weird

When i knew Lady GaGa, i imediatelly start to like her. But, when I discovered that in the truth she is a brunette, at the same moment i compare her with Hannah.
Miley just said that because GaGa uses a wig, she is like Hannah. Not because the style or others.

yeh truee, but i think she just meant that she was grateful that some of her fans that even though they may not like justin still support her choices and her happiness instead of scrutinizing him. 2 bad it was misinterpreted that she was ungrateful for every1 els, dont think thats what she meant, the thing is abt miley she always loves her fans and everyday thanks them. hope evry1 begins 2 understand it soon
