OlderTaylor Lautner: Selena Gomez is a Great Girl
Taylor Lautner caught up with Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday evening (May 31).
The 17-year-old martial arts expert dished on filming New Moon, ice cold water and the status of his relationship with Disney darling Selena Gomez. Check it:
On filming New Moon: “There is pressure, but you push it behind you. Making New Moon was amazing and now being able to see the first cut trailer from it — it’s exciting. There’s a lot more going on in New Moon. Heartbreak…it’s horrible. New Moon will rip your heart to shreds.”
On the most intense scene he filmed: “The most intense scene…probably the breakup scene. It’s the scene where Jacob breaks up with Bella because he realizes he’s too much for her to handle. He’s doing it for her, not for himself. I’m shirtless in this scene, only wearing shorts. It’s 35 degree weather and we’re being drenched in rain tower water. It was so ice-cold and the scene was four minutes long. And we can’t look cold!”
On his relationship with Selena Gomez: “She’s a great girl. A great friend. I hope I’m not breaking their [the fans] hearts. She’s a great girl.”

break up scene?! i read the book in december… but wait…. did they even date in new moon?
well, after the movie in the book, he just started avoiding her and talked to her in her bedroom, but i don’t know what they’ll do in the movie.

Summit really wants it to be close to the book as possible b/c that’s what we want. Bella’s character doesn’t get pregnant till the 4th book. from what I’ve heard, they’re making Breaking Dawn into 2.
OMG I’ve really grown to love him. He’s so different from the rest, I mean I love Kristen’s and Rob’s personalities, but sometimes I think they suffer when all the fans attack them, but Taylor, he’s such a big heart. It has almost been the same reaction as with Edward and Jacob in the books. First I loved Edward then Jacob started to grow on me and I ended loving both but wanting Edward because he was just so over the top gorgeous and charming. Then again it has been the same for Rob and Taylor. I’ve loved Rob since HPGF, and then I saw this kid, and I was like ok he’s ok. Now I’m starting to love him cause he gives himself out. Still at the end of it all Rob is so my type that I have to say I love HIM!
