The HSM hottie tweeted at the event, “Going backstage to get my hairs did by Sebastian…wonder he can tame my tresses. Leaving Sebastian backstage hair salon. They love the fro…YAY! Got some shine and curl defining.”

this is what african-american hair REALLY looks like. This is her natural hair, not forced straight, flat-ironed, relaxed to look like caucasian hair. It is big, curly, and gorgeous. She looks perfect and much better than the wigs she wore for high school musical.
i’m with ashlee african is not the same as caucasian hair. also it’s hard to deal with to. take it from a girl who knows. caucasian’s have it easy with the whole hair deal. but monique girl you look good the fro is rocking very different. people need to make more statements at least she’s daring. some of yall wouldn’t even look twice at hair like that. i remember wearing a fro to homecoming last you and no there wasn’t even a theme. an actually i look very very hot, and got homecoming queen that year. so make statments it’s make you stand out from the crowd. stop trying to look like someone else it’s not attractive. seriously.

Why is it gross, because that’s the texture of hair she was born with? Because she didn’t use damaging heat or dangerous chemicals that would probably soak into her blood stream and cause health problems later on down the line? I am a black woman who has opted to wear my hair in its natural state and I take offense to this comment! Gross indeed! I’ll have you know that I, and many other black women who wear our natural hair take great pride in our hair. We care for it and wash it quite frequently! Afro textured hair is NOT gross! You should really be a bit more cautious about what you say as such statements can be seen as extremely insensitive and offensive!
