OlderKristen Stewart Rocks the Revolution
Kristen Stewart tries to hide under her gray hoodie as she leaves a studio in North Hollywood on Wednesday afternoon (June 10).
The 19-year-old actress also arrived at the same studio on Thursday morning (June 11) only to find it closed. Kristen, wearing a Revolution Rock tee, then went to another studio to rehearse for her role in the upcoming The Runaways.
The Runaways tells the story of the 1970s teenage rock band responsible for hits “Cherry Bomb,†“Queens of Noise†and “Born to Be Bad.” The flick also stars Dakota Fanning, Alessandra Torresani and Stella Maeve.

While I hate the style and cut (remembering having that cut myself in the early 80s) .. its perfect for the Joan Jett roll like its supposed to be. If they’d of tried to fit her with a short hair wig it’d of looked like crap for the role and cheesy. Wigs and Extensions to make hair fuller and longer always look more natural then short haired wigs.
So in the end people bitching OMG its horrible just need to go look at pictures of Joan Jett from the 70s..thats what she looked like shaggy short black hair, thin, and bad ass.
im getting really excited for this movie. kristen was a great choice for joan jett. i think shes going be very bad a** in it :D

that’s awesome she cut her hair for the role. She’s a true actress!! Obviously I don’t like the hair but it’s SUPPOSED to be 80’s .. so don’t bash her. Kristen’s look definitely fits the role..I think she’s really talented. Can’t wait to see the movie!!
