Miranda Cosgrove is going to the big screen!
The 16-year-old iCarly cutie will perform “Raining Sunshine” for the new animated feature, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The song will air over the ending credits for the movie.
Lia Vollack, president of Worldwide Music and Sony Pictures Entertainment, shared, “She’s an amazing artist who brings her smart, fresh style to our film with the song, ‘Raining Sunshine,’ in our end-title sequence.”
Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs in theaters September 18, 2009.

First off she’s been singing forever! Who do you think sings the theme song for iCarly? Can’t tell it’s her can you? Secondly, it’s not Disney and she works for Nickeloden.
Honestly I think she’s a much better singer than Miley and I think it sucks that Miley gets all the fame since the Disney machine is backing her.
Miranda, you’re an awesome singer! I loved the theme song to iCarly and it wasn’t until 2nd season was on that I found out you sang it! Keep up the great work and hope nothing too hard gets thrown at your head on the show.
