Victoria Justice has reason to smile big — her new Nickelodeon show, Victorious has been picked up!!!
Variety reports that the 16-year-old starlet will play a new girl who attends a performing arts high school. “Victorious will be in keeping with Dan Schneider shows,” Nick exec veep of development and original programming Marjorie Cohn said. “They’re character comedies, sitcom format. Dan has just tapped into what kids think is funny and relatable.”
Victorious is set to premiere in early 2010.

can someone tell me why every femle star on nick and disney is brunette? i guess that’s why ashley tisdale dyed her hair brown? but i don’t think that will get her work as she is now too old. she had a good run though.

this show should be pretty good, victoria is definitely talented and likeable, but Icarly is still without a doubt the most clever, well written, well casted show overall on nick and will probably remain so. just my thoughts
aaaagh how long does “moderation” take… this site is so much better and up to date than perez hilton, lol that site was down for several hours today, but at least the “host” was able to go on cnn to talk about nothing

I think I’ve heard of this plot before…something on the lines of my favorite Snick show (Snick is Teen Nick but in the 90′s) Taina. Google Taina and you see the similarities.
