OlderMonique Coleman: NAACP Theater Awards Amazing
Monique Coleman looks amazing as she arrives at the 19th NAACP Theatre Awards held at the DGA Theater in West Hollywood on Monday night (August 31).
The former HSM brainiac presented during the ceremony last night. Monique had a tough time finding the perfect dress for the occasion. She previous tweeted, “Need to walk my dog, then hunt for the perfect dress for the NAACP Theatre Awards on Aug 31. I’m a presenter. Going to lunch w/ my friend Jason Williams, then we’re gonna shop for my dress…he’s got a great eye for style.”
Momo continued two hours later, “No luck at the Beverly Center. Still no luck finding a dress…stopping for sushi. Done w/ sushi…back to the dress hunt. Dress shopping took up my whole day, but I finally found something I’m happy with.”

It’s great to see that she left the ‘fro’. It was ugly. I mean I’m a fellow sista but there is a time and place. The public eye is nor the time or place.

Mo Mo does look amazing and finally, she’s piecing her look very bon chic. Way to go Mo…glad that she was presentin’ and representin’. She has great taste in fashion, and yes….she is a small size. I would say she’s about a size 2 or 4.
I’m so proud of her for she FINALLY got it right. A dress that fits her body and hairstyle that doesn’t overwhelms her. Monique looks so fabulous.
i’m a fan, but the cut and color that dress is way too severe and old for her. between that and a beehive that does her no favors, she looks like someone’s mom at a cocktail party. girlfriend needs a stylist that knows how to dress her age-appropriately.
