OlderLogan Lerman: New Percy Jackson Trailer!
Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario stare up at a mythological creature in the new trailer for their upcoming movie, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
The upcoming flick, based on the book series of the same name, revolves around a young boy (Lerman) discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.
The action-adventure-fantasy also stars Pierce Brosnan, Rosario Dawson and Kyle XY‘s Chelan Simmons.
The Lightning Thief is set to hit theaters in February 2010.

I haven’t read the books, but I love Chris Columbus. He did a wonderful job with the first two Potter films and I will definitely support anything he does. So I WILL be watching this one. :D

loooove Logan. i finished the first book a few weeks ago and i LOVE it. started the 2nd book yesturday… i don’t think they’re supposed to be as young as they are in the books in the movie. i think they changed Percy from being 12 to like 17. haha

I’m definitely going to read them. I was just saying I was going to see the movie regardless. I know what the books are about and it sounds really interesting. Plus I love Logan Lerman. He was awesome in 3:10 to Yuma. Chris Columbus is a genius when it comes to casting film roles so for those who don’t like some of the actors…I think you should wait til you see the movie before you judge.

@Jo-bro: Yea, she does in the book. That was the first thing I noticed when I saw who was playing Annabeth. But then again, these kids are much older in the movie than in the book
