OlderDavid Archuleta Wins Year In Music ALMA Award
David Archuleta sings his heart out as he performs at the 2009 ALMA Awards held at Royce Hall in Los Angeles on Thursday night (September 17).
The 18-year-old musician is also nominated for Best Year in Music — JJJ spies a picture with David carrying an ALMA Award! Hopefully that mean’s he won!
David also caught up with co-host Eva Longoria Parker at the ceremony. Check out all the pics below and watch the show tomorrow night, Friday, September 18 @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC!

I’ve only seen pictures from the ALMA awards show…can’t wait to watch tomorrow night…I can’t think of another artist more deserving of receiving an award for his musical accomplishments this year. He has worked constantly with very few breaks and has loved every minute of it…music is his life…his first love. Take a look at the picture of him sitting on the stage tonight…he goes to another place when he sings and he takes us with him…every single time! Thanks for taking us along, David…you’re simply the best!

I heard he sang a gorgeous heartfelt ballad although nobody has tweeted the name of the song (I guess they are informed not to reveal until tomorrow). The pictures of his performance show why we fell in love with David. So gorgeous.
He did win the award and he sang his song in Spanish. It hasn’t leaked yet what song it was but it was in spanish and everyone that was there that tweeted said it was beautiful and amazing. I just love him and so so proud of him. 18 and all he has accomplished is astonishing….
