OlderMiley Cyrus: The Last Song Release Delayed
April just might be Miley Cyrus‘s lucky month.
Disney reps confirm to MTV News that Miley‘s new movie, The Last Song will be releasing a couple of months later than the original date, saying, “The date is now April 2. We found a better release date than January for it. It will open Easter weekend/spring break.”
Miley‘s other movie, Hannah Montana The Movie, which also premiered in April topped the box office earlier this year.
The Last Song, also starring Liam Hemsworth, was originally supposed to be released in January 2010.

I couldn’t disagree more with you about Miley having no talent. Almost everyone truthful neutral person you could find would probably disagree with you, even if they in the end actually didn’t like what they saw. It’s almost become a lame issue for me to even bother to try to contradict someone who makes such claims since her talent is so freaking obvious. Oh well.
As far as the article goes. I said it last night on Oceanup and wherever else I happened to pass that the main reason behind Disney changing the date was all about rekindling the huge Easter success of Hannah Montana/Movie. Of course Perez jumped at the news and started comparing her delay with the delay or Mariah’s cd, as if they had anything in common! Her movie delay makes total sense. She is touring till New Years. Season4 begins shortly thereafter, and that left precious little time for any real promotion of the new film. But the main reason is again having her debut the film on Easter. It’s a win win situation for Disney/Miley

something tells me it WON’T be as big as the hannah montana movie. the hannah montana movie is a KIDS movie that older people enjoyed too, but do you really think parents are gonna want their kids to see a movie with a plot like this? most of them wont even understand what’s going on half the time. it’s not a movie for little 4 year olds like hannah montana is, it’s for the older groups. so more than half the people that watched the hannah montana movie aren’t going to see this. i’m not saying it won’t be a success, but it most likely will NOT be as big as the hannah montana movie.
