Ashley Greene: Lady In Red

Ashley Greene: Lady In Red

Ashley Greene looks drop dead gorgeous in a long Prabal Gurung gown as she arrives at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon held at Mann’s Village Theater on Monday night (November 16) in Westwood, Calif.

The 22-year-old actress recently dished to ET about her time spent in Italy while filming New Moon.

Ashley shared, “We were only there for a week but it was still incredible. I went to Siena…We were staying at this amazing bed and breakfast, it was like seven villas and the people that hosted it would cook us these massive breakfasts, massive lunches, massive dinners, so everyone would get off set and come to where we were staying and we would have these big family dinners, so that was fun. Lots of food, lots of wine, it was fun.”

once again im Not hating, i have nothing against her but i dont really get what the big deal is with her. she is kinda cute but nothing special. its just my opinion but several of my friends have said the same thing.

    Ashley looked gorgeous.

Why, JJ, do you refuse to post about Jackson Rathbone? He was there, looking fantastic I might add, yet no post. You have a post for Mike Welch and Justin Chon, both of whom have much smaller parts in these movies than Jackson, yet no post for Jackson. He has the most important scene in the whole movie this time! That really stinks.

Oye. That dress is a disaster. She looks tacky…like she’s running for Ms. Teen USA. Poor girl needs a better stylist.

  • jan4ik

    i looove her!

I don’t like Ashley’s outfit and hair but it’s exactly the type of thing I expected her to wear. She’s not tall enough to pull off that cut of a dress. It swamps her. Maybe bare shoulders would have helped. Red is good on her, though. The hair is too beauty pagent. All that backcombing for body went out with the last millenium. She’s a very pretty girl and that styling does not bring it out.

Overall, I was disappointed in the girls look on the red carpet. Disappointed enough to drone on at length about it. I was really looking forward to seeing the style with such a young and pretty cast. All of those girls are absolutely beautiful, stunning. But Kristen, Ashley, Nikki, Noot Seear, Anna Kendrick and Christian Serratos didn’t have one nice outfit between them.

Nikki – Looked like she ran her dress up at home. It was an awful fit, too blousy. But that’s a good colour on her.

Julia Jones – Dress has nice detailing close-up but from a distance it looked wrinkled – loved her bracelet but not with the outfit. I didn’t think that dress was quite formal enough for the event. But she did look classy and beautiful. I think it would be hard for her not to. She’s gorgeous.

Christian Serratos – Cheap, trashy, tacky. Attention-grabbing in all the wrong ways. What a disappointment.

Kristen – Looked like a meringue. She rocked some great, edgy outfits in Europe. What happened?

Anna – Ugh. What up with the tacky glass baubles?

Noot – Armadillo boobies with tripped-out chiffon.

Stephanie Meyer – Just yeuch and yuk-yuk and no. Bingo wings into tight sleeves do not go. Let’s not even start on the fishtail.

Tinsel Korey – Didn’t like the yellow or the flounces.

Best of a bad lot -
Elizabeth Reasers dress was simple and beautifully accessorized. She could have picked a stronger colour than white, maybe. She’s got the lolipop look going on and could do with putting on a few pounds. She’s quite the vamp, no?

    Winner -
Dakota’s dress was nice, lovely detail but I think it would have been the business had it been a rich, deep blue shade. She’s loving her stacked heels recently.

By contrast, most of the guys looked great. Outstanding among them were -
Gil Birmingham – Striking in his jeans, silk shirt and Native inspired jacket.

Pete Fach – 3-piece made special by a rich, funky shirt. That berry-stain colour looks good on him.

Boo-Boo – Very smart. Loved the little silver earrings. He’s going to be a heartbreaker.

Charlie Bewley – Sexy leather jacket and white tee combo. He takes a good photo. Hot.

Taylor Lautner – Not particularly special on this occasion but because he always looks sharp, be it formal or casual.

    Honorable mention -
Chris Weitz – Kinda missing the orange pants :(

    Not loving -
Edi Gathegi – That maroon piping. Hmmm.

Billy Black – Did that jacket have shoulder pads ala Dallas era Joan Collins? Surely not. Just spotted his wife’s thigh-high, leather boots. With lace patterned tights. Jesus!

Jamie Campbell-Bower – Failed. The ill-fitting jacket should have stayed home. But he is a cutie-pie.
