OlderNew Moon Stakes The Box Office
Kristen Stewart is making box office history!
The Twilight Saga: New Moon pulled in a massive $26.3 million at North American box offices in midnight showings on Thursday (November 19). WOW!
The previous record was set by Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, which claimed $22.2 million in midnight screenings when it was released this past July.
The vampire romance movie is projected to take in a total of around $100 million in its opening weekend.

It’s because of twilight that make other movies lose their chances of success. Just saying,but I can’t wait to see New moon. It’s not out in my country yet.

this is all my opinion, but I’m just saying there are other movies out there that actually are important..
seriously people i do love twilight but the truth is it is WAY overrated. the books are amazing but the movies eeh? i mean i am so sick of how new moon is beating out harry potter. the harry pottercast deserve way more recognization (exept rupert,emma and danielle) im talkin bout tom felton, evanna lynch, matthew lewis. The movies and plot lines are much more interestu=ing than this piece of ****! (not talkin bout the books, i love stephenie meyer) i really was lokking forward to watching twilight but it dissapointed me ALOT! hopefully new moon will be better (tho i doubt it) BTW I KNO I’M GONNA GET A TON OF HATE FOR THIS! BUT HEY EVERY HAS THEIR OWN OPINION

Edward can’t read Bella’s mind.
They fall in love after like a week.
She wants to be a vampire.
They have a baby.
Jacob “imprints” on her.
They get married.
This book is s stupid it hurts, not to mention the lack of decent vocabulary. Oh, and the fact that just because the book is said to be amazing, AUTOMATICALLY so’s the movie which is dumb because the actors, besides Ashley and Kellan, suck…

To all you haters above, i love the Twilight Saga but didn’t expect much from the movie because the previous one wasn’t so great. But as a matter of fact, I was pleasantly surprised at New Moon, it was absolutely amazing when I saw it, besides one part that was utterly obsurd. I loved the movie, so how about you actually go and see it before you start bashing it!! You are all pathetic!!
I hated Twilight, but New Moon was amazing, period. And @lmao, you saying you don’t go and see movies at the cinema? That’s money that could be used to feed hungry children. Unless you don’t EVER go to the cinema, that’s very hypocritical.

it’s not because they make history at the box office that mean it’s the best movie all the time! the critic sucks! lot of people who see the movie are very disappointed except the girls who scream when they see taylor lautner shirtless!
oh boy, like it needed another reason for me to hate it. Seriously its so overrated now its gone past the stage of funny. And i cant believe there is still at least 2 more too come :|
It really goes to show just how childish twihards can be when it comes to hearing negative comments about New Moon, just because many out there don’t like the books or the movies, with justifiable reasoning, you can’t go around calling them ‘haters’, it’s immature and goes to show exactly how old the fans of this movie really are. This movie will most likely make more than a $100 in the box office, however, the critics and a lot of the public have spoken, and the truth is that the movie sucked hardcore, not surprisingly, and quite honestly, they could break the box office this weekend, but in terms of worldwide collections overall throughout the next few weeks, fans of the movie shouldn’t expect any phenomenon as it’s not gonna surpass HP or even Transformers, if it does, well, let’s just hope that the hype dies out soon, it’s just annoying beyond comprehension.
