Selena Gomez stuns in a silver Talbot Runhof gathered dress as she arrives at the 2009 American Music Awards held at Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles on Sunday evening (November 22).
The 17-year-old actress who will be presenting an award during the ceremony tonight, dished on the red carpet that she’s looking forward to seeing Janet Jackson at the event. Selena shared with JJJ, “I love music. It’s been my passion growing up.”
The 2009 American Music Awards will be broadcast live TONIGHT @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
Selena is also wearing Rock & Republic‘s new “Romy” strappy heel with chain detail. Aren’t they hot?

shes gorgeous and the dress is cute…but it doesnt really fit her…it looks a bit big or something…she should have gotten it altered so it is more fitting. but she always looks elegant and classy

Hate the dress. Hair is a bit safe and what she usually wears it as. Her face is cute but I wish she would take more risk’s. In all honesty,the dress looks like a silvery,sequin tarp. :/ Sorry! Cute girl,though. Don’t love her fashion sense is all.
The dress just doesn’t fit her but Selena is amazing and I love her. I would have liked her in something white, red or black? I also prefer her hair long but whatever floats her boat. I can’t wait to watch the AMA’s tonight. Most excited to see TayTay Swifty =]

She needs a better stylist ASAP! She’s so cute but her style to these events is horrible! She looks old. The shoes don’t match. The hair does not look youthful and pretty. Ugh.
BTW I actually like this dress, is not low-cut or too grown up like the other gowns I’ve seen her where. This is very appropriate for her age. Any one know if Miley’s going to be there? I have already seen the pix of Demi !
