The 18-year-old musician tweeted after his performance, “With my girl @giamantegna [Gia Mantegna], had such a great time at the xmas tree lighting, losing my voice though, who came and partied with us tonight?”

Mitchel also caught up with costars Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and “young Miley” Ryan Newman at the event.
