Justin Timberlake & Hayden Panettiere Honor Teen Heroes
Justin Timberlake puts an arm around Leah Stoltz in this sneak peek of the upcoming 2009 TeenNick HALO Awards.
Created and hosted by TeenNick Chairman Nick Cannon, the HALO Awards is a new one-hour special that recognizes and celebrates real teens who are agents of change in their communities, in the hopes of inspiring and motivating a new generation of leaders. HALO stands for “helping and leading others.”
The TeenNick HALO Awards will feature four unique stories that are deeply relevant and important to teens — each one showcasing an ordinary teen doing extraordinary things. Each teen — Leah, Megan Kilroy, Darrius Snow and Brryan Jackson — will be surprised with a visit by Nick and awarded a grant for their organization, scholarship funds and a whirlwind, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and trip to meet and connect with a mega-celebrity who shares their passion.
Justin, LeBron James, Alicia Keys, and Hayden Panettiere (wearing Hurley) join Nick during the hour-long special presentation that recognizes and celebrates four real teens who are working to making a significant difference in the world.
The 2009 TeenNick HALO Awards premiere Friday, December 11 @ 8PM ET/PT on TeenNick.
