OlderBella Thorne Knows the Joy of Giving

The 13-year-old Big Love actress was just cast in the lead of Disney’s newest pilot, Dance Dance Chicago. Bella will play Cece Jones, a dancer with heavy ambitions for a career in the spotlight, Variety reports.
Bella caught up with JJJ during Variety‘s Power of Youth earlier in the month and told us about taking over the role of Tancy on HBO’s Big Love. She shared, “She gets really jealous if the attention isn’t on her. This year, there’s a big storyline with her in it and I’m really happy about that. She’s really just jealous of everything that goes around.”

Just wish she’d understand she’s only 12 and there’s no need to be a showstopper, at least exploit her talent. Too much hunger for publicity, here’s to hoping she doesn’t turn out dead beat. Too much talent, don’t waste it Bella!
@Amanda: From what I can tell, every girl her age is doing so much publicity. Some of the kids, not Bella, don’t even have anything to promote yet they are still at every Hollywood event. I think for the kids with work to promote, they need to stay in the public eye and strengthen their fan base. Otherwise, they may be left behind. I’m not saying I agree or disagree with the practice but these are the facts. Bella is very talented and seems to keep up with a heavy workload. I don’t see it any different than the competitive youth athletes that work on their profession. Most of the athletes start very young. Bella just seems to attract more attention than most. It could be high profile projects or beauty. I’m not sure which. I wish her and all the young celeb kids the very best.
