Logan Lerman shows off his newly acquired powers in this new Percy Jackson poster.
Based on the book series of the same name, the movie revolves around a young boy (Lerman) discovers he’s the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.
The action-adventure-fantasy also stars Pierce Brosnan, Alexandra Daddario and Kyle XY‘s Chelan Simmons.
Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief is set to hit theaters in February 2010.

i’ve been trying to choose whether or not i should read the books before the movie cause they sound really awsome. but i tend to get a little confused and frustrated when they dont make the movie just likie the books(Harry potter series)
