Check Out New Rapunzel Concept Art
Rapunzel, Rapunzel, Let Down Your Hair…
Peep the newest concept art images for Disney’s upcoming Rapunzel.
In the animated feature, opening on November 12, 2010 in limited theaters, the classic fairytale about the girl with the super-long hair features the voices of singer Mandy Moore, Chuck star Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy.
In Disney’s version, Rapunzel (Moore) tells the tale of a princess stolen from her parents’ castle as a baby and locked in a hidden tower longing for adventure. Now an imaginative and determined teenager, she takes off on a hilarious, hair-raising escapade with the help of a dashing bandit (Levi). With the secret of her royal heritage hanging in the balance and her captor in pursuit, Rapunzel and her cohort find adventure, heart, humor, and hair.

lol xd
she looks like the girl from enchanted mix it up disney
Looks cute, but I wish they would’ve done the hand-drawn art for such a classic story.
I like the art and I will defintiely see this but I also wish they would have done traditional 2-D animation. “The Princess and the Frog” whetted my appitete for it and that’s what Disney does best. They have Pixar for the CGI films.
Mandy moore is awesome so I am definitely watching this film.
OMG! i love it….it reminds me of the old classics like Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella!!!!
DON’T LIKE. Ariel, Jasmine, and that new princess from The Princess and the Frog looks better.
But the prince looks FINE!
I agree SJS I wish Disney would get it’s act together and go back to making real pieces of film art

nice idea, but they won’t at least not for some time. the thing is that hand-drawn art takes longer to complete and in someways is more expensive than the method they are using now. with mgm failing, people in the industry are getting nervous. disney is not above financial problems someone at disney has obviously decided that this is the way to go; get Rapunzel out on the market in november in order to capture a share of the christmas dollars.
Rapunzel looks like a sl*t. The prince looks like whatever. Very disapointing.
