OlderHannah Montana Coming To An End
Get your tissues ready, Hannah Montana is indeed ending after a fourth season.
A rep for show runner Miley Cyrus told Access Hollywood that the most popular Disney Channel show will start shooting it’s final season on Monday, January 18.
Disney Channel Worldwide’s Adam Bonnett, senior VP of Programming shared with the NY Post, “You never know in this business . . . but right now we’re scheduled to wrap [forever] after shooting this new batch of episodes.”
The plot of the final season will mirror Miley‘s own life, as her character must decided if she is going to leave her secret double life as a pop star in for the life of an everyday teen.
Late last year, Miley dished to Access‘ Billy Bush that she would always be grateful for HM: “I could never say anything bad about it because [that's] what gave me my start and it has been so amazing. It’s given me the opportunity to grow as an artist. It was really a great learning experience. But I definitely am ready to go on and do other things.”

I liked the first and parts of the second seasons, but then things got sorta boring. Still sad to see it end, but it’s time.

Everything has to end some day and it just so happens that Hannah Montana is ending soon and it was the first show i properly watched on Disney so I will always remember it but hopefully Miley will move on to bigger and better things after this but I hope this season will end with a BANG and the haters really need to stop because hating soon gets boring to listen to and i think you have reached that stage you aren’t winding anyone up you’re just making use bored to death

I will just say I am not disappointed in anyway what so ever Sonny and Wizards and Suite life on Deck are my top 3 shows and I am excited for Good Luck Charlie….I am not a Miley fan anymore anyway just like some of her songs that is all.
Sad that Hannah Montana is ending. Glad if Miley is happy. HM is one the all time greatest shows, right up there with Friends and Frasier in overall top quality cast, writing, acting and comedic timing.

Let’s not forget that Miley originally wanted to end the show in the third season. It’s good to see her move on, but I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot more difficult. Carroll O’Connor had an easier time movie away from his typecasting as Archie Bunker from “All in The Family.”
I have always loved the show. I think all the hype about ending the show last season & now this the 4th season is having a negative affect on viewers. It’s too bad because it was the funniest & best of the Disney shows. I hope it is not something Miley regrets – I think the show would still have had an audience into the 5th season – but at 17 Miley feels too grown up to continue. Disney is a good place to be employed because they give their stars alot of press & promotion. I’m sure Miley will find it very different out there without the Disney machine “pumping up the party” for her.
I wish Miley well & will miss her on HM – I’ll miss the rest of the cast too – they had such good chemistry as a show – like a modern day I Love Lucy (with Miley as the “Lucy” character & Emily as “Ethel”).
I hope she takes Brooke Shields advice & goes to college. It can only enrich her life.

I so glad that Hannah Montana is ending. I hate Miley Cyrus and the show Hannah Montana. This show was okay in first season but, after that it became one of the most dumbest shows on t.v.

i’ve only been watching Hannah Montana for a year and a half and i’ve probably watched all the episodes. it’s actually sad that the show is ending after 4th series but everything has to come to an end, like all the other shows.
i will miss it, especially the songs that come from the show. and she does have older fans who watch the show, like me, who is almost 2 years older than her.
Even though all shows must come to an end it’s sad that good shows end while bad ones are still going on. I hope that all the stars can continue doing what they love and that the end of the show isn’t the end of their carrers. Good Luck to all of them and thanks for the entertainment that the show has given us.
Well, I love the show and I loved the movie and everything but… I am glad it is finally ending because Miley will be able to take space from the HANNAH MONTANA/MILEY STEWART character and she’ll be able to grow up as actress and she’ll have more time to do other things :)
