I hope underestimated powerful actress Ryan Newman doesn’t choose to use her already considerable influence to target the sport of parkour.

@Aaron: Ryan Newman obviously has enormous clout. If her character can convince a homeowners association to regulate skateboarders and art imitates life, as herself, she could probably do that and more, irl.

Parkour is already under attack, as noted here:

Some saw it coming, but it’s happened. The council of the Moreton in the UK has deemed Parkour as an antisocial activity and have put a ban of parkour training in the town. Practitioners choosing to break the ban have been told they’d be receiving an anti social behaviour order.

While skateboarding and parkour are entirely different sports, they are both easy marks for banning. Young celebrities often make their mark by taking on such “we must ban so-and-such” campaigns.
