wow the poster really grabbed my attention, it looks really
so yes, jake definetely isnt a ‘disney star’ but an ‘actor’ :)

  • ems

i agree, they dont expect someone to grow up when they have to perform with other ‘disney’ actors…

The poster looks nice. Looking forward to see “The Perfect Game.” Sounds like a good cast too – Ryan Ochoa is pretty cool.

As for the whole ‘Disney’ thing; it really doesn’t matter if they started on Disney or have worked with Disney in genereal. Look at Zac Efron and Shia LeBeouf – both have been on Disney for different shows and moves, but look at them now.

How about Demi Lovato? She started on Disney in Camp Rock (for actual ‘fame.’) Yeah, she did Barney with Selena and what not, but were you a Fan then? Probably not. Look at her now too. So calling someone a ‘Disney star/actor’ doesn’t say much.

At least they have a job they enjoy and can make others happy by doing.

Why is it that Jennifer Stone and Emily Osment cusses and noone cares but let Jake cuss and he is bad?

This was filmed two or three years ago, why is it now coming out? He was like 12 then, I think. Or maybe what I was reading was pre production…

  • Marty

Yes, this was filmed in June and July of 2007. So all the boys were nearly three years younger. The film went through some major problems with the original owners of the film, Lionsgate. But it appears they are no longer associated with The Perfect Game at all and it is finally getting a much deserved release…just as the new baseball season begins too.

This was not the first time the film was delayed. Just after they began filming, production was halted for nearly three months due to funding. When they started back up, some of the boys had even then grown several inches so all of their original scenes had to be re-shot. We can only hope that with all the problems and delays this film has suffered with, it will be well worth the wait once we all finally DO get to see it.

Great news on the movie coming out soon! We created a beautiful children’s book based on the movie. Check out http://www.MiracleofMonterrey.com and there’s a book trailer on youtube where you can see how some of the illustrations were made…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rij6bqfLWDo
