Taylor Swift is Obsessed with Fairytales

Taylor Swift just can’t get enough of her fairytales even in her upcoming flick, Valentine’s Day.

The 20-year-old country superstar’s new song, “Today Was A Fairytale,” appears on the films soundtrack and will be available in iTunes on Tuesday, January 19th.

Taylor has said to Allure mag about her fairytale obsession, “I have always been fascinated with fairy tales, and the idea that Prince Charming is just one castle away. And you’re gonna run across a field and meet each other in the middle, and have an amazing, perfect movie kiss. And it’s gonna be happily ever after.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK of Taylor’s new song? Do you believe in fairytales?

I seriously love this girl, but I think it’s time to grow up Tay. Leave this fairytale nonsense to those Disney stars. You’re much better than this!

I am looking forward to hearing her new song. I didn’t try clicking on the link because I am still using a pathetically slow Internet connection.

So do I believe in fairy tales? Yes, if Taylor Swift’s philosophy is adhered to by both people in the relationship
. As the old saying goes, you can lead a camel to water but you cannot make him drink the water. Any time I hear about a relationship that failed I know one or both of the people in the relationship did not adhere to Taylor’s philosophy. Taylor is more than just a good influence for people. She clearly describes her process of reasoning in her songs. She mentioned in one of her blogs that this is what she tries to do. Whenever some difficult situation comes up, she puts her emotional response into music. However, her music consists of her emotional response combined with her system of logic on the situation. This is why she is such a good role model. If people can be convinced by reason alone, then let them be convinced by Taylor Swift’s reasoning. For those who remain unconvinced perhaps they are hopelessly illogical in their reasoning capability. Otherwise, let them make their case and a procession of discourse upon the topic will determine the strength of their argument.

I love Taylor (Swift & Lautner- Or Hautner as I like to call him LOL) I love that Taylor believes in Fairy Tales! Why can’t she? I know I still believe my prince charming is out there and that I am a princess who deserves the best boy I can find (CALL ME Tay Hautner- HAHA LOL!) Whats so wrong with wanting that? LOL

I say let the girl believe in happy ever after… If you dont thats fine but dont bring down the hate on us who do. LOL

I love taylor’s songs, she’s so talented.. i hope she doesn’t end up like lindsay lohan, though

Do I believe in fairytales? YES, of course. I DO believe in fairytal-ish relationships.I DO believe there’s 1 person created for each of us. The world’s gonna tell u that it’s nonsense, that u need to grow up, that that’s childish, etc. But that’s pure bs. Probably around 85 % of the people in the world are called to marriage. If u r called to the vocation of marriage then remember: GOD has created someone for YOU. He/she is MEANT to be with YOU, not with someone else. That’s why CHASTITY is so important. That’s why guarding yourself, your body, your heart, your mind and your soul to that special someone that God created for YOU is so important.

Love it!! I’m soo downloading that now… :D Can’t wait to see the film, it reminds me of ‘He’s just not that into you’ which TBH was a bit of a let down, hopefully this is better with it’s all-star cast!!!

Belin. I think Taylor Swift becoming another Lindsay Lohan is the least thing we need to be concerned about. Lindsay has not done well both in her career and financially. I am not sure if she has any real devoted fans any more. People like that are great only in their own mind–a truely sad condition. However, Taylor understands what being a friend means. She supports all of her fans in a way that I have not observed in any other celebrity. Taylor has held herself to a higher standard in both modesty and in relationships which is why she is where she is today. This kind of success is not short lived. While many celebrities have taken the easy road to success–living a depraved lifestyle–Taylor has taken a different route and no doubt 10 or twenty years from now she will still be famous while many other artists will be already starting to fade into the past.
