Screenwriter Linda Woolverton chatted with Yahoo about exactly where Underland, the world in the movie, lies. She shared, “It lies somewhere far beneath our world. The only way to get there is to fall down a rabbit hole. Time has passed. The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) rules the whole land. It’s under her thumb. And the people of Underland need Alice.”
Alice in Wonderland hits theaters on March 5 and be sure to peep and pre-order the soundtrack too!

I can’t wait to see this movie!! I love Tim Burton and pretty much every actor in this film is brilliant!
I like that they made it about Alice returning to Wonderland and going on a new adventure, rather than re-telling the same story for the millionth time.
