Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart post with The Runaways director Floria Sigismondi during the 2010 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Saturday afternoon (January 23).
Kristen, 19, is at the star-studded festival to not only promote The Runaways but also Welcome to the Rileys, where the new BFFs were spotted at the premiere.
Dakota and Kristen are also expected to catch Joan Jett & the Blackheats‘ concert tonight at Harry-O’s.

hmm… Did Dakota grow taller??? Last time she was 5’2 but now she looks like 5’4… Whats her role in the runaways??? I know shes Currie.. Isnt she supposed to be the lead according to the original Runaways that Kristen an Joan??? N e ways Kristen should really change her hairstyle. I <3 them both

@ssr: Dakota is the lead, but they have been pumping Kristen as the lead because of her sudden popularity I guess. But from what I’ve heard, Dakota without a doubt steals the show.
Kristen sure knows how to pull off the “pissed-off” look, and I say she does it quite well. A very talented actress!
lol She looks like a really buff dude in that picture. Dakota looks like a ball of sunshine compared to Kristen Stewart. I hope for the movies sake Dakota steals the show I’ve seen a few clips and I can’t take either of them serious while watching.

dakota steals the show because the movie is based on cherie currie’s biography..its cherie’s story. joan jett is the founder of the runaways & the producer of the film, but it should be clarified that this is NOT a joan jett movie…thus, kristen’s part is more of a supporting role, not the lead. 80% of the dialogue and scenes are dakota’s…however after the success of twilight, they have been using kristen’s name to better promote the film.
i think both girls are great actresses and i love and respect them both, but i have a feeling poor kristen is going to get bashed because of the misconception that this was supposed to be “her film” in which she plays the leading role…when from the get go it wasn’t supposed to be.
This girl always looks like she life is a living H@llhole. I don’t care if she doesn’t enjoy the spotlight. If she doesn’t like it she never should have got into hollywood and acting. When your an actor there is always that change your next project is going to be the next big thing. She should have known that when she started.

I really hope Dakota dose steal the show becasue some people are are unsure if she could pull this role off but i hope she dose,she always dose great in her roles but mabe this one might be two much for her but we will see soon.
