Anna Kendrick gives Jason Reitman a congratulatory hug on stage at the 2010 Director’s Guild of America Awards held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza on Saturday night (January 30) in Century City, Calif.
The 24-year-old actress and costar Jason Bateman presented Reitman with the Feature Film Nomination Plaque for Up in the Air.
Anna opened up about her next film, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, to MTV. She shared, “I’ve seen it. It’s awesome. There’s nothing to compare it to. It’s like the energy from Ferris Bueller and the action from Kill Bill. It’s amazing.”

I’m so excited.. Academy Award nominations are going to be announced on Tuesday! I’m sure she’ll be on the list, and she completely deserves it.
I read she’s going to start shooting a movie with James McAvoy. It should be really easy to hate her, right?.. And yet it’s impossible to hate her. She’s the best.. What a real movie star should be.
