WAHOO! I can’t wait to see the movie.
I read the book so I am hoping the movie is very similar to the book.
But a shirtless Zac will make up for it if it isn’t similar.
NO!!!!! I SO wanted to see this movie soon!!!
Now, I’m sad… at least it’s right near my birthday. Maybe I can get someone to take me to it… :(
Come on, Z! I was pulling for an earlier release, not a later one! I know he doesn’t have much say, but now I’m disappointed.
@Katty: Do you not realise how these things work? Zac has no say what so ever in when the movie is released. That is soley down to the studio in the case Universal. Who have seen sense and have decided to put the movie back so that it gets a fair run and is not outdone by Twilight which is slated for release the week after it was originally meant to be released in June!
the novel was amazing. im really looking forward to the movie. blown its been pushed back though. i guess its better seeing as toy story and eclipes are coming out in june anyways.
I MET hIM ON THE SET OF THIS MOVIE! such a nice guy so friendly took pictures with like 50 ppl each night at 2am!
Aw, 3 days before Zachary’s 23rd. :D That’s cool. I should read the novel, I need to find it first though. Haha. Can’t wait to see Zachary’s acting in this movie. He never fails at what he does. :D
@London Lemming:
I realize that, did you not read my post? I know it’s a smart idea, I just don’t want to wait practically a year….
@London Lemming: This isn’t an appropriate film to release during summer blockbuster season anyway. Instead, it can compete against the Facebook movie, various Halloween movies and a crappy romcom.
GREEEEEATT! OMG I CANT WAIT!
OMG!! I CANT WAIT ANYMORE!!
Oh God I can’t wait for this movie, and yes, I read the novel and loved it. Even if Zac had not been doing a movie on it the book was amazing.
Everyone should read it.
@annasaurus: I never said it was. Re-read my post.
@Katty: I apologise I didn’t see the last part of your 1st post
@Katty:
Perhaps it got bumped back to be a possible Oscar contender,
who knows????
I think a fall relase would be better for the film.
i cant wait to see this movie it looks so good
No!! I want it to be released NOW!! LOL
I’m already bummed that Me and Orson Welles didn’t play anywhere near me. I wanted to see it so badly. I read the book and was looking forward to seeing it.
I’ve read both of Ben Sherwood’s books – Charlie St. Cloud and The Man Who Ate The 747. I liked CSC better, but they were both great. I know that Zac has done a wonderful job and can’t wait to see it.
@joboots: If that were going to happen, they would release it in December.
@London Lemming:
I soo agree because that the first thing that came to my mind when it said they were pushing the date back. For real people everyone knows the competion between Taylor Lautner abs vs. Zac Efron abs would have teenage girls confused as to what movie they should watch. To be honest I wouldn’t know what movie to watch because that some serious hotness going in a dark theater.
thats on my birthday:) very nice birthday present
Aw, now we have to wait even longer. I was so excited that it was going to come out soon. This is exactly what happened to 17 Again, too. It was supposed to come out sometime in July 2008 but they pushed it back to April 09. Tbh, i was kinda expecting the push back since if it were to come out in June, then we’d at least have a teaser trailer.
I cant wait to see this movie… he is a great actor, I have enjoyed all of his movies by far… Im sure this one wont be the exception… greetings from Guatemala!!
Yes I’ll see it!!
I am disappointed in having to wait longer but it is only 3 extra months and I’m all for it being released at a time when it has the best shot to be postively received. I also want to know, like 17 Again, that it will be a wide release and not like MAOW in a limited one. MAOW was such a good movie and was well received by critic. It had a wonderful cast and it is a shame that more people couldn’t have seen just how good Zac was and the wonders of Christian McKay.
I never thought about the awards effect. If it is released later in the year, and is very good, as it should be, it could be a contender for the Oscars/Globes. Smart thinking. I SO hope he gets at least some noms, he deserves it. I can’t want for his new movies.
For that Agorithm one, I looked it up on dictionary.com and I have to say, just from the description of the word, I can tell it will be a good movie, especially if it will be a Back to the Future-like movie. I am so excited.
This better be right this time. I hate that they changed the date for some stupid Twilight film >>
Well I hope we at least get a preview for the film soon.
