OlderLogan Lerman Dishes Details on Percy Jackson
Logan Lerman and Brandon T. Jackson share a laugh as they visit BET’s 106 & Park in NYC late last week.
The duo play on-screen pals Percy and Grover in the upcoming fantasy franchise, Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief.
Logan opened up to Access Hollywood recently about more details of the flick, plus a little about his Spider Man potential. Check it:
On the fan phenomenon Percy is slated to become: “I didn’t focus on that at all. It didn’t really even cross my mind a little bit. I just spent so much time making sure that Percy was a character. It’s not me playing Percy… I can separate myself from him. I changed a lot of the characteristics myself to make sure that he can stand on his own. Do I want it to be as successful and do I want it to be as loved as the Harry Potter and Twilight films are? Yeah, of course! But you can only hope, I just did my part and tried to make a good film and all that.”
On the talked about romance between Annabeth and Percy: “I can’t give any of that away, I don’t want to spoil anything in the movie or any plots. But there is romance in the movie, I will definitely tell you that.”
On being in talks with Sony about Spider Man 4: “It’s one of my favorite characters ever and I’m a huge fan of the series. I’d love to have more conversations about it. I’m definitely very interested in it. It’s just, you know, conversations are starting. It’s a long process with the studio and the producers and everything. But it’s definitely a project that I’m really interested in, of course. I’d love to focus on the human element a little bit more. It’d be such a fun experience.”

he’s a great percy although older than in the books and has the acting chops, right age and look for parker
If they plan on focusing on Peter Parker’s high school years he would be good for the role.
I like how he says that he wants to be the character and not his self playing the character. I think he’d be a great spiderman, especially if they’re going to do the high school thing. It’s hard to find good actors at that age.
