Dakota Fanning: Last Minute Valentine's Day Shopping!

Dakota Fanning walks and talks with mom Joy as they do a little last minute Valentine’s Day shopping in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon (February 14).

The 15-year-old actress recently chatted with WWD about her role as Cherie Currie in The Runaways.

Dakota shared about playing the legendary front woman, “I loved all the things I would get to do while playing Cherie. For Cherie, the jumpsuits and boots and everything were like a performance in themselves. They were part of the persona she created. Obviously Joan [Jett] didn’t do that, but people interpret their sexuality in different ways.”

Be sure to catch Dakota in the March 2010 issue of Vogue and in The Runaways, in theaters March 19th.

she’s so natural, i like her look!!

There you have it. Right there Dakota Fanning tells you how she manages to exude raw sexuality from every pore and even from her props — inanimate objects such as jumpsuits and boots — everything is contemplated and deliberately worked for desired effect.

With her skill-sets, none of the people she plays would ever likely individually themselves have that kind of sex appeal that she brings to the character — Dakota Fanning is that much bigger than life.

    OMG, what an actress.

She’s very stylish and such a great actress

So who can do that at 12-years-old? Dakota Fanning is much to old to star in director Martin Scorsese’s much rumored remake of Taxi Driver. Jodie Foster played such a 12-year-old in the 1976 Scorsese blockbuster, and it propelled her to stardom, (well, that and images of a little dog tugging down her bikini bottoms on giant billboards all across the country for Coppertone).

Does such an American actress these days even exist?

@good-one: Brooke Shields starred brilliantly in just such a pre-teen role in Pretty Baby (1978). But these days? In the current Nanny State? Dunno. Point well taken.

So what we are really talking about is a preteen actress capable of acting in heat: that actual physiological state when the two hormones called oxytocin and vasopressin are released in sufficient enough quantity within the metabolism.

It is profoundly telling then, that the new studies are showing that a promising new treatment for autism turns out to be high supplemental doses of a love hormone.

Could it really be that rather than the initial theories of mercury in the vaccines being responsible for the previously unknown wholesale onset of autism, that it might actually be due to all this hysterical massive early sexual repression under the current Nanny State?
