Happy Sweet 16, Dakota Fanning!

The Runaways starlet was seen out on Saturday night celebrating her day with about 40 friends and family at Villa Blanca Restaurant in Beverly Hills.

After guests sang “Happy Birthday,” Dakota blew out the candles and thanked everyone for joining her for the Mediterranean-inspired dinner. Party guest Cherie Currie was spotted giving the actress a guitar sculpture, which she carved from a solid piece of wood. How cool!

Dakota will be hitting up the new Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 12. Be sure to watch!
