Taylor Lautner Drops Max Steel; Keeps Stretch Armstrong

Taylor Lautner is doing some spring-cleaning when it comes to the roles he’s signed on for.

According to the NYTimes, the 18-year-old actor has dropped out of Max Steel in favor of Stretch Armstrong.

It seems that Taylor figured out that Mattel was on the slow side of developing things.

Last March, Universal announced that Tom Hanks would be developing a project based on the even-less-well-known sixties Mattel action figure Major Matt Mason (he was an astronaut who lived on the moon), but after that, nothing else has been accomplished.

Role Round-up: Taylor will be starring in Stretch Armstong, Abduction, and the upcoming Breaking Dawn.

It was also previously announced that Taylor has parted ways with the Northern Lights project.
