Vanessa Hudgens gives Kenny Ortega a great big hug backstage at the 2010 Inaugural St. Jude Children’s Hospital’s “Estrellas Por La Vida” Gala in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (April 7).
Joined by boyfriend Zac Efron, the twosome were on hand to present Kenny with an award for his continuous work with children over the years.
HSM costar Monique Coleman also joined in on the celebration. She tweeted, “Kenny‘s an amazing director & humanitarian. I’m thrilled to be able to participate in an event acknowledging his contribution to children! Just met up w/ Zac & Vanessa backstage after they presented an award to @kennyortegablog! Soooo good to see them at this incredible event.”
FYI: Vanessa was wearing a bronze colored Alberto Makali dress with black YSL heels.

Vanessa looks totally beautiful in her dress that looks like it was custom made for her and her hair looks sensational. Now, Zac… You are incredibly handsome and look great…from the forehead down. Sweetheart, PLEASE, oh pretty please, do something with your HAIR! You are too good looking to literally look like you got out of your bed and ran your fingers through it! Seriously, my hair looks EXACTLY like this when I get up and run my fingers through it, it stands straight up in front. But believe me, I don’t intend to go out looking like that. My husband just makes fun of me until I take my comb to my hair. Zac you look gorgeous with a messy “do” but NOT this type of messy do. There is a fashionable messiness and then there is simply messy.
