OlderNikki Yanofsky's Debut Album Out Today!
Canadian cutie Nikki Yanofsky just dropped her debut studio album, Nikki, this morning in Canada!
The 16-year-old singer recently chatted with the NYPost about performing at the 2010 Olympics opening ceremonies, singing the theme song, “I Believe.”
Nikki shared, “I was shaking.. I said to the guys who were with me, ‘In five seconds, the whole world will know who I am.’ Afterward, I cried for twenty minutes, I was so overwhelmed. My whole life changed.”

That’s what I was going to ask, if she was the one who covered Gotta Go My Own Way. Guess so. That song gets me everytime. The original. I don’t really like all the international covers when they only have one person. It sounds so much better as a duet.

@jessica: Did some research and she’s pretty impressive. She sang the national anthem at the Olympic opening ceremonies and she performed at the closing ceremonies.
She sings a lot of jazz but also a lot of singer/songwriter stuff that she co-wrote like that “for another day” song in the video above.
I just watched a bunch of her videos on youtube. Definitely a fan now!
