Ashley Argota has some fun with the balloons at the 2010 Girl Prep Conference held at the Hollywood Renaissance Hotel on Saturday morning (May 1).

The 17-year-old actress also stepped out at Lollipop Theater Network’s second annual Game Day at the Nickelodeon Animation Studio in Burbank, Calif., on Sunday (May 2).

Ashley caught up with JJJ at both events and we discovered a new little-known act about her. Did you know that booking True Jackson VP saved Ashley‘s acting career?

She shared with us, “It was such a lucky break. I auditioned on like March 28, 2008 and my mom came into my room that morning and told me that it would be my last audition if I didn’t get the part. I cried so much and I went to the audition totally unfocused and my eyes were so red. I got a callback and ended up booking Lulu which was so cool.”
