It was all black and white for the young Hollywood stars at the 2010 Costume Institute Gala in NYC on Monday evening (May 3).
Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins and Emma Roberts all showed off their best smiles at the benefit which celebrated the opening of the “American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity” exhibition.

Please someone help poor Kristen Stewart know how to pose better on red carpet. Chanel is usually fabulous but not this dress—maybe nobody could have pulled that one off well.
Ok, let’s set this straight.
Ema Watson was by far the prettiest. Period.
But this event is not about being pretty. It’s about taking chances. Wearing something you wouldn’t on other events. And who did that?
Kristen Stewart.
Like it or not, pals, Kristen was the most appropriate dressed out of these. All the dresses are really pretty, but are something they could’ve worn some other night.
I blame all the pther girls for not taking risks, except for Emma. She was limited to Burberry, and Burberry isn’t exactly known for being edgy.
Anyway, Emma and Kristen owned the night for two different reasons.
