Seldom are there albums, debut albums at that, that have this much pedigree on songwriters and producers, and it does show on all the songs. I tried to be unbiased in my listening to all the tracks, but I must say, I love the album, love all the songs, and love the artist for who she is and what she offers. Simply GREAT!
CHARICE is nothing short of amazing! I just got my deluxe edition on iTunes. AT THE TOP BABY!

Charice’s album is a copycat of Jojo/Jordin Sparks’ albums. After a boost from an Oprah appearance, Charice will drop off either or both the Hot 100/ Billboard 200.

Please be aware that Charice fans have been known to leave multiple messages under different names when promoting her. I have proof (with screenshots and links on my blog) of their sock puppetry, and worse, it’s actually condoned by other Charice fans.

Thanks for sharing…I appreciate your opinion but the people whose opinions matter happen to love Charice (i.e. Oprah, David Foster, Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, etc).
So if you think she’ll fail, fine….but her fans and the “people who matter” in the industry won’t let that happen.

Charice is really great singer. she has a naturally engaging charisma. i listen to great jazz music from airto to zawinul, and charice i like also, she is an artist

I disagree with you regarding the people you mention that supposedly “matter”. Case in point, take look at Charice’s Hot 100 and Billboard 200 standings on her 2nd week of releasing the album and single. Charice is now on the verge of falling off the Hot 100 this week and will probably be gone next week. As for the Billboard 200, her album will probably decline to the 180 to 200 spots next week on the way to a fourth week exit.

BTW Charice’s album just dropped off the Billboard 200. Coupled that with her “Pyramid” that is dead, buried, and forgotten in terms of the Hot 100, it’s safe to say that Charice is a flop.
