Brenda Song: Little Sister Storyteller?

Brenda Song keeps it cute and classic as she steps out at the A|X Armani Exchange and ELLE‘s Joe Zee ‘Disco Glam’ soiree evening held at A|X Robertson Store in Los Angeles on Tuesday night (May 25).

The 22-year-old actress has been listed as the storyteller in the upcoming film, Little Sister.

Little Sister is based on the earliest telling of the Cinderella story, from ancient China and features an all-Chinese cast. Xiao Min will play the title role of Mei Mei.

    @stephanie: singing a hip hop song but with the ”emo” attire. he has an R&B band called ashland high! lol.. its comedic. the non-metro station songs are purely humorous. he might make her reckless.

    She looks perfect (as usual). And I’m glad they are having the cast of a Chinese story be Chinese, White-washign in movies in upsetting! Anyway, good look Brenda!

  • Britini95

    Oppps, meant good *luck Brenda! I need to leanr how to type better :/

    @Britini95: BRENDA isn’t Chinese.

    @ROORY: Isn’t Brenda of Thai and Hmong ancestry? If so, it means that she’s not Chinese, persay, but she does have some Chinese ancestry not-so-hidden in there.

    It’s nice to see an Asian starlet in a cultural role though that isn’t about martial arts, though some of those films can have the most magnificent storytelling I’ve ever seen. ;D
