Pretty Pastel Pair

Nicola Peltz gives costar Seychelle Gabriel a hug as they arrive at the premiere of The Last Airbender held at NYC’s Alice Tully Hall on Wednesday evening (June 30).

Nicola, 15, caught up with The Calgary Herald with on-screen brother Jackson Rathbone and dished about filming the movie in icy Greenland. Jackson shared, “You think, ‘one day I’ll be filming in exotic locations.’ I wouldn’t get the chance to go if I wasn’t part of the film.”

The duo also chatted about the clothes they had to wear — seven layers of long-johns underneath their furry suits, and were outfitted with neoprene rubber gloves. Jackson joked, “Nicola, if I recall, had a little trouble walking with all those clothes on. How many times did you fall that first day?”

“I fell so many times. There was this one scene, if you’ve seen the trailer, where we’re running from the ice that’s cracking. One of [the times I fell], I was running, and I totally just spilled everywhere. Ugh!” Nicola said.
